Howard Waters, the W in CW&B, recently served on a prestigious panel of judges for the annual Addy Awards competition in Savannah. Addy awards recognize excellence in the field of advertising and are sponsored every year by the American Advertising Federation.
This year Howard was one of three experts on the panel to judge the outstanding works of the local Savannah ad community. The local winners qualify for regional competition, and from there the winners move up to the National Addys held every June. To win an Addy on any level is a highly
sought-after reward. Think Academy Awards!
To be selected as a judge is quite a compliment in its own right, and this is Howard’s third gig as an Addy judge. Look for Howard’s judging in our own art department where excellence is also a standard.
